Army Emergency Relief is committed to maintaining good corporate governance. As such, we voluntarily comply with the provisions of The Public Company Accounting Reform and Investor Protection Act of 2002, commonly referred to as the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX). Although most of the provision of this legislation do not apply to nonprofit organizations, we believe that our voluntary compliance demonstrates and reinforces our commitment to integrity, competence, and fiduciary responsibility in managing Soldiers’ money.
Of particular interest to our web site visitors is the AER Code of Ethical Conduct, wherein we spell out our principles for dealing with U.S. Army Soldiers and their Family members. We encourage all who are associated with AER to report breaches of this policy and any occurrences of misconduct, fraud, and abuse by AER employees or Board members, and U.S. Army employees acting on AER's behalf. We have established an independent, third party, anonymous reporting system to receive and process reports of violations of our policies and ethical conduct.
Reports of misconduct, fraud, and abuse may be registered with Global Compliance at 1-877-874-8416 or online at https://aer.alertline.com.
Any person registering a complaint should be aware of the AER Whistleblower Protection Policy.
