California Wildfires

AER can help Soldiers affected by the wildfires in California. Find your closest AER Section or Military Aid Society at the bottom of this page. If you are located more than 50 miles from a military installation, AER assistance is available by calling the American Red Cross at 1-877-272-7337. Select option 1 for financial assistance. Or, you may call AER Headquarters for guidance at 703-601-2768 or 866-878-6378.

AER provides loans that are always free from interest and fees to Service Members and immediate family members in need of financial assistance. Repayment of loans is vital to ensure that AER can continue to provide assistance to the community it serves.
AER is the Army's own emergency financial assistance organization and is dedicated to "Helping the Army Take Care of its Own." AER financial assistance is conducted within the Army structure by mission commanders and garrison commanders through AER Sections located at U.S. Army installations worldwide.
AER respects the privacy concerns of those we serve and our supporters. Except where disclosure is required by law, we do not share, sell, or trade the personally identifiable information from our donors or scholarship/financial assistance applicants.
