Stateside Spouse Education Assistance Program (SSEAP)

 

           

The Stateside Spouse Education Assistance Program (SSEAP) is a need-based education assistance program designed to provide spouses of active duty and retired Army Soldiers, and widows(ers) of Army Soldiers who died either on active duty or in a retired status, and residing in the United States, with financial assistance in pursuing educational goals. The purpose of the program is to assist spouses/widows(ers) in gaining the education required to allow them to qualify for increased occupational opportunities.

 

The Stateside Spouse Education Assistance Program for the 2009-2010 Academic Year is no longer available. The March 2nd deadline has passed. The application for the 2010-2011 academic year will be available on this website December 2009 and will be due March 1, 2010.

Each 2009-2010 applicant has been mailed a notification letter announcing whether or not they have been awarded a 2009-2010 Stateside Spouse Education Assistance Program Scholarship. These letters were mailed June 19th through the 21st. Please wait until you receive your letter to contact this office with questions.
