Why Donate?

As the Army’s only nonprofit financial assistance organization, AER provides the most direct path to supporting Soldiers and Army Families. Based 100 percent on the generous donations from Soldiers and American citizens, AER has provided $2 billion in assistance to nearly 4 million members of the Army team since 1942, including $1 billion since 9/11.

I would recommend AER to the Soldiers because I used it once. I was a young staff sergeant, and had an unforeseen circumstance come up. I got a small AER loan or repaid it and it was really a great process to me. I donate every year to AER. I believe in it: Soldiers Helping Soldiers.
