Spouse Education Assistance Program
The Spouse Education Assistance Program is a need-based scholarship program established to assist spouses of Army Soldiers in obtaining a 4-year undergraduate degree. Applicants must apply each year and may receive assistance for up to four academic years they meet the eligibility criteria below.
- Student must be a part-time (minimum of 6 credit hours per semester or term) or full-time (minimum 12 credit hours per semester or term) student working on an undergraduate degree.
- Student must be the spouse of an active duty or retired Soldier or the widow(er) of a Soldier who died while on active duty or while retired.
- Student must maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.0 on a 4.0 grading scale.
- Student must not be a member of the National Guard, Reserves, or other military branch.
2013-2014 ACADEMIC YEAR SCHOLARSHIP STATUS UPDATE
All scholarship checks for the fall 2013 term have been mailed to the schools. If you need assistance with a scholarship check that has not yet been received, email email@example.com.
The checks for the spring 2014 term will be mailed to the schools in December. If you have changed schools or your enrollment plans have changed, please email firstname.lastname@example.org prior to 1 December 2013.
2014-2015 ACADEMIC YEAR SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS
The next time to apply for a scholarship is after 1 January 2014 for the 2014-2015 academic year. All instructions and applications will be on our website at that time.
