Active Component and Retired Soldiers may use allotments to repay AER loans. If you would like to start, stop, or change an allotment, please contact AER at 1-866-878-6378 or repayments-allotments@aerhq.org.

If you are on Active Duty and are currently paying your loan through an allotment and wish to pay your account in full, AER must receive and post your payment by the 20th of the month in order to stop the allotment.

If you are a Retired Soldier paying by allotment then we must receive and post your payment by the 10th of the month in order to stop the allotment.

In the event there is an overpayment, HQS AER will refund the overpayment.
